This video was exhibited at the 17 Days (vol.8) September 30 – October 26, 2015 at The Bret Llewellyn Art Gallery – Alfred State College October 2016. It is currently exhibited at Mahoney Hall – University of Massachusetts Lowell from November 14, 2016 – May 1, 2017 at Atrium Gallery – Western Michigan University.

The Heart Trembles is an extract from MEMORANDUM LA TERRA TREMA,

a documentary about Luchino Visconti’s masterpiece La Terra Trema that Luana made during the Cinemadamare International Festival.

 

The 10 minute documentary captures the memories of La Terra Trema's protagonists. Memorandum La Terra Trema was presented at the International Film Festival Cinemadamare 2010 and broadcasts on RAI TV.Filmed/Directed by Luana Di Pasquale and edited by Laura De Meo.

Between the Raindrops A young woman feels her lost love’s final touch to an orchestra of raindrops.

 

This short film was shown at the 2006 Portobello Film Festival and it was broadcast on ITV Local. 

 

Written/directed by Luana Di Pasquale,starred Nadia Hall and produced by Alex Lopera. Music and sound design by Matthias Kispert.

 

 

Interference is a 10 minute psychological/drama, Luana's graduation film as a writer/director and producer.

 

The short film tells the story of a woman, Isabella, loosing her speech after a traumatic event while shadowy memories comes back to haunt her after giving birth to her first child.

 

Luana Di Pasquale explores themes of childhood and repressed memories in a dark Milanese hospital set. Will Isabella accept her past and move on? This is Luana Di Pasquale’s graduation short film as a writer/director and producer. This short was shot in Italy and stars Lauretta Lewis, Daniel Ducruet and Lucrezia Leveque.

 

Interference was shown at the NFT during 2005/06/07 where she held a Q&A in front of an audience of 600 people. It was also shown at the UNCUT session at the ICA where she held another Q&A in front of an audience of 80 people. It was also showcased at the Portobello Film Festival 2009.
